Tony, Howard, Stephen, Personal Development and Me, (not forgetting Judith)

In January 2009, I will have worked for Virgin Media, (in one or more of it’s incarnations) for nine years, during which time I have reported to 6 different bosses, (there were a couple who only lasted a few weeks so I have not counted them).

Three of them, Tony Grace, Howard Watson and Stephen Beynon are all still gainfully employed at Virgin Media and all fall into “really important people” status

Strictly Come Dancing or Strictly Making Money ?

On Saturday night millions of people across the UK, (maybe you included) watch Strictly Come Dancing, the TV reality show where “celebrities” partner with real Ballroom dancers with one couple being judged / voted off the show each week.

I don’t watch the programme, as Austin Powers (International man of mystery) say's, “it’s not my bag baby” and anyway it clashes with the X-Factor, which is much more, “my thing”

It's my Birthday

Hi Everyone,

It's my birthday this month I am now 50 years of age.

I had a great week running up to the actual day and really wanted to use this Blog to say a really big "Thank You" to everyone who contributed to the presents, cards, cakes and balloons.

Einstein, Biffer, Pecker and Spud: What’s in a name?

In 1985 I went to the FA Cup Semi final to watch Manchester United play Liverpool at Goodison Park.
